Meet our Furry, Woolly and Feathered friends at Twiddle Farm

As part of Get online week for Be Connected – Maturity Matters are holding a Zoom event where participants can engage in a virtual, real-time interactive tour of our farm. Our farm, located in the green rolling hills of Arawata has 26 animals ranging from Alpacas to goats to chickens, Jersey boys (Steers) a barn cat (when she’s in residence) and 13 likeable sheep.

The event is on Wednesday 20th October at 10.00 am.

We also have a 50 tree orchard for the gardening enthusiasts to virtually tour. The key objective of the virtual tour of the farm is that it will be interactive.

Participants will be encouraged to ask questions about our animals and orchard trees and to provide recollections of their experiences in similar settings.

Please call us on 0435 121 362 to register for the event.

Ernie is looking forward to meeting you

New York New York

On the 20th October we launched our first program – New York, New York. Bringing together older adults from two nations in a live video chat.

There was a total of 29 participants who attended the zoom chat with representatives from South Gippsland and New York.

There was a lot of sharing, a lot of listening and most of all a lot of laughter and connection.  There was even a rogue dancer in the group!! Excitingly it was such a success there was an overwhelming commitment to want to do it on a regular basis.

The event was part of Be Connected Get Online week.

To take part in future events please contact us on 0435 121 362 or via email on contact@maturitymatters.org.au
